Adam's Uncle John (Comments from Adam's funeral service 8/23/05):
All of the parents here today share Donna and Weldon's love for their children. We cannot comprehend your loss. We mourn the passing of Adam, a kind and gentle son. As parents we come to a time when our children move on. We can no longer protect them, have the same influence, help them avoid the dangers that lie all around us. We pray, we hope, we call. Our job is complete, we have done what we could, all that we are capable of. We watch, we call, we pray. Life now has our children. We become spectators - laughing, crying, jumping for joy, wincing at the close calls. We hope that we will grow closer with time. If we get the time. We parents here today share your love and pray for more time.
